Perspektiv Purple has developed a multi language website for New York Stock Exchange listed company Cascal.
Operating internationally in seven countries to provide water and wastewater systems to over four million people, Cascal’s website was dated and in need of an overhaul.
“We appointed Perspektiv Purple to carry out the work because we were impressed with their approach to web production, having developed a website for our sister company, Biwater” says Hazel Arnold, Marketing Manager at Cascal. “A key requirement for us was for the site to be easily translated from English into Spanish and Chinese. Perspektiv worked tirelessly to meet this objective and we are very pleased with the end result.”
Perspektiv created a comprehensive content management system which allows users to flit between the three relevant languages at the touch of a button. Cascal has full control of the pages and can now easily upload information, images and video footage. The new web design has a unified and consistent look throughout.
Ashley Kirkpatrick, Commercial Director at Perspektiv said, “Chinese has a variety of dialects. One of the main challenges we faced was getting the website to accept Chinese ‘characters’ correctly. However, overcoming this, the website can now be easily managed in-house with the ability to cope with future add-on developments. The new look and feel is fresh and easy on the eye.
